Our primary role as governors is to help the school provide the best possible education for our pupils.
We do this by:
• Setting the school’s vision, ethos and strategic direction
• Holding the headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils
• Overseeing the financial performance of the school, making sure its money is well spent
The Main Governing body meets at least twice a term. In the intervening weeks the committees listed below give detailed consideration to issues and make recommendations to the full Governing Body.
