The Year 3/4 tag rugby team took part in the Sparkling Rugby Festival at Overton rugby club. They all played very well and got through to the quarter-finals. A super effort by all!
The Year 5/6 rugby team also took part in the Sparkling Rugby Festival. They showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship and progressed through to the semi-finals. They were narrowly beaten by one try. Well done everyone! The team also found out that they have won their league.
Both teams also took part in the Tadley Cluster event. They all played brilliantly again and both teams were winners! A super end to our season!
Three Year 3/4 tennis teams took part in a tennis competition at Totally Tennis. All the teams played really well and had a great day! Our A team came second overall and will now take part in the Hampshire School Games.
A Year 3/4 team and a Year 5/6 team took part in a trigolf competition. This is a new sport for us and everyone was excited to participate. Both teams performed really well. They both came second in their respective competitions. Well done everyone!
A KS1 football team took part in a competition at the Powerleague pitches at Brighton Hill. They all played well and lots of goals were scored.
Classes 1 and 2 have enjoyed learning cricket and the skills linked to this as part of the Chance to Shine programme.
Class 3 shared their excellent Maypole and Country dancing to the parents at the May Festival and to the residents at the Grange Nursing Home. They have also enjoyed learning about tri-golf and have taken part in a class competition.
Class 4 have also been learning tri-golf skills. The Year 5s have been doing jumps and balances in their gymnastics lessons. They have also had tennis coaching from Ben at Totally Tennis.
All classes have been building up their distances with their golden mile. A lot of children have reached 10 miles already and are aiming for 20 miles before the end of the year.
