The Year 5/6 tag rugby team have been very busy over the last few weeks. They took part in the Tadley Cluster Competition again Silchester and Burnham Copse. The children played really well in all their matches and won the shield for the fifth year running.
They have also been taking part in a league since September. They have played at the four different schools across the year and won the majority of their matches! They are once again winners of the Roman league and were presented with their trophy last week.
The finale of our tag rugby season was the sparkling rugby festival at Overton rugby club. The children all played brilliantly as a team and made it through to the quarter finals. A huge well done for all your achievements this year!
The Year 3/4 tag rugby team have also been playing lots of matches, including some friendlies with Silchester. They also took part in the Tadley Cluster event which they won!
They took part in the sparkling rugby festival at Overton rugby club which is attended by 42 other schools. The team won all their matches in their pool which saw them reach the Quarter Finals. They won this and got to the semi-finals. The team played brilliantly and should be very proud! Well done!
Two Year 3/4 tennis teams took part in a competition at Totally Tennis. They all played brilliantly and one team came second overall – super tennis skills! Well Done!
KS1 children have attended a football festival and competition. All the children involved had a great time and learnt some new football skills. They have also been taking part in keep fit sessions with Coach Debbie and learning about developing their core strength and stamina. Next month they will be attending athletics and scatterball competitions.
KS2 are looking forward to hockey next half term with Mr Moria and learning new skills in Lacrosse.
