Class 1 are going to be learning dance with coach Faye this half term. They will be showing us different moves and sequences based on their pirate topic.
Class 2 are going to be swimming at the aquadrome and developing their different strokes.
Class 3 will continue with Badminton for a couple more weeks. They are enjoying learning the different serves and practising their skills using different games. They will also start Tennis with a coach from Totally Tennis and are hoping for some dry weather so we can play outside! They will also continue their tag rugby skills.
Class 4 will be continuing with their dance lessons with coach Faye and we look forward to seeing their performances at the end of the term. They will also be learning squash and some will have the opportunity to play in a mini-competition against 2 other Basingstoke schools.
We are hoping to introduce the golden mile this half term and the School Sport Organising Crew are ready to begin their training in how to measure the impact. We hope to be able to run for at least 5/10 minutes a day which will help towards our overall distance.
